The Situation
A world-class independent cardiac care practice asked Solid State to help clarify and differentiate its mission and proposition. Based in the Seattle metropolitan area, the practice was successful but in search of a unified identity, marketing position and growth strategy. The challenges: highlight the practice's unique strengths as distinct from heart institutes at very large hospitals. Break away from the narrow, clichéd message design favored by most health care providers with a unique, memorable voice. And develop smart strategies for connecting with more referring physicians and prospective clients.
The Approach
Solid State designed focus gatherings featuring custom interactive exercises designed to yield insight into the organization's unique strengths. Competitive research and stakeholder interviews completed a portrait of a truly unique health care proposition distinguished by extraordinary access to passionate doctors, determined focus on preventive cardiac care as opposed to trauma care, and a better-designed, more empathetic patient experience. Solid State developed a unique "brand personality" for the Cardiovascular Consultants practices and comprehensive marketing and patient communication plans using online and conventional media.
